A former Pinheiros parking lot has been transformed into this unapologetically trendy canteen that bills itself as the future of eating. Indeed, low-key chef Gabriela Barretto has a vision: scale back on meat-derived and processed foods, and muck about less with things. Vegans flip over the plant-based lunch menu (R$34), while dinner mostly focuses on small plates and sandwiches.
Coffee is also taken very seriously, as espresso from the La Marzocco machine and gourmet café coado (Brazilian-style pour-over) can attest. With a hip and hot clientele (and out-of-the-box, Asian-leaning fusion keeping them satiated), the future looks bright.
