Cozy and convivial, Ambar's long, welcoming bar is probably the single best spot in town to sip on juicy IPAs or a humidity-retreating pilsner or weiss. The craft beer on the 15 taps here is impossibly fresh, and good relationships with Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina breweries mean you see suds here you don't easily find elsewhere.
There's lot of crunchy and savory bar bites, sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs (mains R$24 to R$37) to chase with the brews, as well as growler services. Pints get pricy (R$21 to R$45) but quality is top.
