Well off the beaten path, this humble-looking botequim (bar with table service) serves mouthwatering petiscos (appetizers). It was started by three culinary graduates, who have elevated simple bar ingredients into high art with dishes like pastel de feijao-preto (black-bean pasties), house-made linguiça (sausage) and fondue da gema (polenta with crunchy pork rinds and sweet peppers, served with pork ribs and sausage).
Its location near Salgueiro, 400m away, makes it a good pre-party spot on Saturday nights.
