Madidi Jungle

Amazon Basin

The newest community project in Madidi and the only one created and sustained 100% by the indigenous people of the park. All-inclusive trips include bird-watching, night hikes, boat excursions, piranha fishing, handicraft workshops, river tubing and more within the 210,000-hectare stretch of land belonging to the San José de Uchupiamonas.

You'll sleep in comfortable thatch-roofed cabins set by the Río Tuichi and eat meals made with traditional rainforest ingredients. The three-hour journey to the lodge from Rurrenabaque is included in the price, as are bilingual guides.

There's a booking office in Rurrenabaque.
