De Real Macaw Guest House

Caye Caulker

All the rustic lodgings dotting the leafy grounds here are inspired by the jungle, from cabañas built from pimenta sticks to the beachfront rooms with thatched-roof verandas. The decor continues the theme with swinging hammocks and woven tapestries, but the rooms are also equipped with modern conveniences such as TVs, fridges and coffee makers.

The kind owner is a mother of six, and caters particularly to families.
