L'Escaudoir

Wallonia

In two small, understated, casually elegant dining areas separated by a tight spiral staircase, this husband-and-wife team present carefully prepared seasonal cuisine featuring lots of locally sourced produce. The changing menu features regional specialities (rabbit cooked in beer) as well as a few dishes of international inspiration (thiéboudienne de poisson – a Senegalese fish stew).

Open only three nights a week, this place books up. Be sure to reserve in advance.
