Brasserie François

Namur

This stately 200-year-old building has an interior full of polished brass and waistcoated waiters, and it serves up beautifully executed brasserie cooking (tender lamb chops, whole grilled bream, and steaming pots of mussels in season). Outside of meal times, the elegant bar or outdoor terrace at the back make fine spots for a drink.

Weekday lunch specials (€15) are excellent value.
