Au Point de Vue

Liège

Since 1971 it's been named for its (road-blighted) view of the city's 19th-century opera house, though in fact this tourist-friendly brasserie occupies a house that's more than twice as old (1652). A big plus here is the large, all-weather terrace area for reliable Liègeois specialities plus mussels, snails, pastas, salads and bar snacks. The rattan-woven chairs could be more comfortable, though.
