Les Genêts

The Ardennes

This lovable family-style hotel boasts sweeping panoramas across the river to the sculpture park from its terrace, garden and cosily old-fashioned lounge, which has a grandfather clock and hunting trophies. The castle views from room 15 are particularly fine.

However, despite cursory redecoration, the bedrooms are still showing their age a bit and there are plenty of stairs to climb.
