The 1972 facade is architecturally questionable but Turnhout's cultural centre was renovating its theatre at the time of research. There's an exhibition space, an artist in residence and if nothing is on, there's still the in-house cafe-bar, as popular for early morning coffee as it is for the low-key evening DJ sets.
