This exquisitely restored 200-year-old stone building offers six lavish rooms, each with a special character. All are delightful but the art deco decadence of ‘Années 30’ and the tasteful on-safari brilliance of the ‘Africa Room’ (great balcony views, huge bathroom) are particularly memorable.
The 'China Room' sleeps four, not counting two full-sized terracotta warriors who watch you sleep. Like the 'Hunting Room' and smaller '1001 Nights', it's up in the eaves (no lift).
'Standard' rooms face the road, 'Comfort' options overlook the valley. Rates, including breakfast, drop by €10 midweek.
