La Ferme des Eglantines

Wallonia

Set in a restored farmhouse some 4km southwest of Nivelles' centre, this place has cheerfully decorated rooms with original details (exposed brick in some, wooden beams in others). The friendly hosts go to extra effort to make guests feel at home, and the included breakfast is first-rate. The small terrace is a fine place to unwind at day's end.

On the downside, you'll need a car if you stay here.
