A rare chance to sleep within the walls of a begijnhof. The nicest of three homely rooms has its own kitchenette. St-Amandsberg begijnhof is around 500m east of Gent-Dampoort. Using the east gate off Schoolstraat, the B&B is the second doorway on the right, veering right near the little shrine-chapel. Check in before the begijnhof gates shut at night.
