The decor is a mad mix of voodoo, Carribean, Pacific and Japanese elements and nine piranhas cruise in the centrepiece fish tank. The list of premium rums is impressive and there are home-infused fruit gins. But Bar Zar's party trick is excellent fresh cocktails (€10 to €14) swiftly served on draught.
Made daily with fresh fruit and prime ingredients, the results are deliciously full flavoured and they've made it possible to serve drinks far faster than from even the most expert mixologist. Lesser-known cocktails are still handmade.
