This B&B is in an utterly charming time-warp cottage backing onto the Quartier Bretagne art alley (a short-cut up to the castle). English-speaking Guy is a delightful host offering two homestay rooms, each with private (but not en suite) old bathrooms. The family kitchen, replete with homemade jams, is almost a museum of rustic style.
Guy particularly welcomes walkers and has two great-value, similarly antique gîte-houses alongside: Les Miquelets (per week €255 to €281) sleeps two to three adults, while larger Le Flores (€339 to €465) sleeps up to six. Various off-season deals, including shorter stays, are available.
