Minsk

Some crimes against taste may have been perpetrated in the lobby, but the spacious if flouncy rooms are good quality, with high ceilings, plush carpets and faux-impressionist art. Service is excellent, the location is ideal and there are some nice extras, like a small pool and unlimited sparkling wine and red caviar at the sumptuous breakfast (€25).
