One of southern Réunion's best-kept secrets, this rural paradise surrounded by forest and sugar-cane fields is a great place to come down a few gears. Way up in the hills, it shelters several six-bed dorms, each with its own bathroom. At dinner the super friendly owners will treat you with the freshest island ingredients.
Access is a bit tricky; it can be reached on foot (about 30 minutes) or with a normal car in dry weather via a scenic 2km dirt track from the Route Forestière (signed at the junction, about 5.5km above the village of Basse-Vallée).
