Dover Beach Hotel

Barbados

You go down a tiny lane to reach this gracious, secluded and older beach hotel, tucked into a corner at the east end of the Gap. The main three-story building surrounds a good-sized pool and large oceanfront terrace with access to a stretch of white sand that lies to the side.

There are two smaller buildings overlooking a garden at the rear of the property. Some rooms have kitchens just inside the door, but they are a little tight for space and are not really suitable for preparing much more than a snack.
