Roundhouse Restaurant

Barbados

Set in a dramatic stone building up on the hillside at the north end of town, this excellent restaurant has customers throughout the day who sit around, sip cocktails and savor the fresh breeze and fine views south over Soup Bowl. You can enjoy banana bread with your breakfast, sandwiches and salads at lunch and local specials and pastas at dinner.

Food and service are both top notch. Make reservations for evening meals as it is known to close early if no diners are around. It also has rooms to rent (US$125 to US$185). Try to get rooms 3 or 4 which have sea views.
