The 12-room MinAli is built around an 1896 house with a museum of a lobby guarded by a warrior statue. Opened in 2019, standards are top notch and manager Araz speaks good English. Original bare stone walls and brick window arches show between antique hung carpets in rooms 102, 103, 203 and 204. Other rooms are contrastingly plush modern affairs.
The top-floor breakfast room continues the museum-like feel with its collection of old samovars and a mirror wall of other treasures.
