Şahdağ Quba Hotel & Spa

Azerbaijan

Rebuilt from scratch and opened in 2018, Quba's most central hotel has an excellent location right beside Nizami Park. Reception staff speak English and rooms are fully equipped, but style is lacking and interior decor falls well short of the promise suggested by the facade.

There are fine views from the appealing roof-terrace restaurant. To fit the mores of a clientele drawn mostly from the Gulf States, the spa has sex-segregated timings (women 9am-5pm, men 6-11pm). A shisha garden outside operates all night in season.
