Şərq Hamamı Çay Evi

Azerbaijan

This charming teahouse hides within an 18th-century bathhouse building, whose interior is more atmospheric than the peeling faux-gilt on the domed roof might suggest. It's refreshingly cool and usually very peaceful, yet a whole pot of tea with lemon costs only AZN2.

It's on the leafy square right in front of Hotel Tabriz. No toilet.
