Təbəssüm is a particularly appealing small-scale rural restaurant-resort that prides itself on not cutting down any trees. Indeed some foliage grows right ‘through’ the kitchen buildings. Long footbridges link dining pavilions that nestle into the mossy rocks, overlooking a rear fork and minor waterfall. Kebabs and tea are sensibly priced.
There are also several pine-fragrant huts (from AZN30 to AZN80 according to size). These are attractive, though not luxurious, with en suite toilet (but no paper) and a shower that might never run hot. Wi-fi is a possibility in the restaurant area.
