Cənub Resort

Azerbaijan

Cənub's well-built pine cottages are a definite notch above most of the competition along the Lәnkәran–Lerik road, with little stone patios or raised miniterraces shaded by trees, if a little tightly packed.

As with most places, music can disturb the tranquility, especially on summer weekends, but from October to May the resort is relatively calm and AZN20 cheaper per night. Kebabs (AZN6) and sac (mixed hotplate, AZN20) are served at tables around a pretty flower garden or beside the river where there's a bar is shaped like a pirate ship.
