Entirely rebuilt in 2017, Gəncə's foremost concert hall has an ornate neoclassical design replete with statuary, domes and a figure-topped spire. It's a memorable sight even if there is no performance to attend.
The venue is home to a chamber orchestra, folk-music ensemble and a song-and-dance troupe. It's officially named after Gəncə-born composer and conductor Fikrət Əmirov (1922–1984).
