Passage 1901

Baku

For good, fair-priced Azerbaijani food in an unusual setting, visit the main restaurant section in this cavernous former market hall, which uses many mid-20th-century elements to conjure up nostalgic memories of Soviet-style bazaars.

The space is also home to a Japanese eatery and the excellent coffee-roasters Kofetearea. Although the official address is on Nigar Rəfibəyli küç, access is via the easily missed south side entrance on Mirvarid Dilbazı küç.
