About Carinya
Food, music and being near the water (or preferably in it) bring me joy, so my favorite destinations offer at least one of the three: Northeast Brazil, Sicily, Martinique, Hong Kong... I lived for three years in Guyana, where my dad hails from, working as a freelance journalist, fixer and lecturer. Though I'm now back in the UK, I visit my 'second home' often – and want everyone else to fall in love with it, too.
