Hotel Kärntner Hof

Vienna

Renovations have restored the 41-room Hotel Kärntner Hof to its art-nouveau-era glory with Jugendstil colours (grey and sage), English wallpapers and Italian fabrics while retaining the original oak floors, period paintings lining the walls and the wood- and frosted-glass-panelled lift to the roof terrace.
