One of the best flea markets in Europe, this Vienna institution adjoining the Naschmarkt's southwestern end brims with antiques and Altwaren (old wares). Some 400 stalls hawking books, clothes, records, ancient electrical goods, old postcards, ornaments, carpets, you name it, stretch for several blocks. Arrive early, as it gets increasingly packed, and be prepared to haggle.
It’s very atmospheric – more like the markets of Eastern Europe – with goods piled up in apparent chaos on the pavement.
