Botanical Gardens

Vienna

A subterranean mirror of Cafe Stein's sunny spaces above, Botanical Gardens makes for a cosy, magical retreat once Vienna's weather turns chilly. A dark nautical theme ticks all the cocktail-revival-scene boxes, but with enough local eccentricity to keep things interesting.

However, it's the cocktails (and their makers) that are the star here, with high-quality spirits, fresh juices and an intriguing use of herbs, spices and other botanicals like kaffir, tonka bean and rosemary.
