Behind a sheer wall of glass, the Penz is a contemporary design hotel next to the Rathaus Galerien. The minimalist rooms in muted hues are spruced up with flat-screen TVs and shiny chrome fittings. At breakfast, a whole table is piled high with exotic fruits.
