From the lofty vantage point of this slickly modern, glass-fronted rooftop restaurant, Salzburg spreads out before you in all its glory – it's particularly spectacular after dark when the fortress lights up. Service is attentive and the menu swings from steaks and surf 'n' turf to well-executed classics such as Wiener schnitzel and Tafelspitz (braised beef with horseradish).
