Mostschenke im Heustadl

Top choice in The Salzkammergut

Taking its name from the apple-pear cider it produces (expect a very dry brew) and its location in an old farmhouse, Mostschenke serves an expertly prepared range of classics along with various platters, all of which you can enjoy outside in the lovely yard in warm weather or inside in the cavernous wooden farmhouse atmosphere.

It's opposite the Hochsteg-Gütl hotel and is run by the same owners.
