Housed in an old pub with an attached modern state-of-the-art brewery, this cracking brewhouse produces beers including popular Norton Lager and Mt Macedon Pale Ale; a tasting paddle of eight house-brewed beers costs $20. The bistro serves dishes that are a cut above usual pub fare (mains $18-38) and there is live blues music on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons.
The brewery plans to open a Beer & Brewing Discovery Centre in the new wing at the end of 2019. Onsite accommodation (d incl breakfast $165-205) is available.
