Harley & Rose

Melbourne

Named after a Black Sorrows song, this Italian restaurant is big on wood-fired pizzas and also offers refined pub grub and pasta. It somehow manages to be uber cool and kid-friendly – those tea towel napkins come in handy for all ages. Groups sit out the front drinking Australian craft beer, while inside food pops against muted tones and canvas blinds.

There's a bottle shop onsite, and daily happy hour sees pizzas fly out the oven at $16 for a couple of hours prior to 6pm.
