Taking over from one of Melbourne's most infamous rock 'n' roll bars (called Pony), this new version may be more sanitised, but the good news is it's still got the late-night gigs and club nights upstairs, covering anything from fuzzed-out garage to electronica. Its American-diner-meets-Thai food is fantastic, too.
