Reminiscent of a luxury African safari lodge, this mud-brick homestead stands in pastoral surrounds with plenty of wildlife. It's all solar powered and rates go towards the on-site Centre for Conservation Ecology (www.conservationecologycentre.org). Prices include a dusk wildlife walk with an ecologist, where you'll visit a tiger-quoll and potoroo enclosure. Bookings are mostly only available for weekdays.
A continental breakfast and afternoon tea are included in rates; otherwise lunch is $25 and dinner is $55 per person.
