This restored, two-storey convict-built farmhouse (1835) is just north of Swansea, backing onto the Meredith River. The five guest rooms have various bedding and bathroom configurations (no kids) and are decked out in rustic style. If you're feeling sociable, there's a snug guest lounge with decanters of port and sherry awaiting. The iron roof could use a paint!
