Cradle Mountain Lodge

Though often described as Cradle Mountain's best accommodation option, we don't think this claim bears scrutiny. The cabins are comfortable but their decor is tired, and the on-site restaurant is extremely disappointing. Service levels are low too. On the bright side, the lodge puts on plenty of activities and guided walks (most charged), and operates the Waldheim Alpine Spa (massages $140 to $200).
