Queuing outside this teensy bakery, which has sprouted branches across the city, is an essential Surry Hills experience. It sells a tempting selection of pastries, cakes, bread and sandwiches, along with near-legendary sausage rolls. There are a couple of spots to sit inside, but on a fine day you're better off on the street. Check online for sourdough-bread-making classes.
