Cornersmith

Newtown & the Inner West

Devoted to community and ethical food production, Cornersmith presents a seasonal menu of delicious dishes, as well as pickles, sauces, preserves and cookbooks. Sit inside or at street tables to try dishes like toasties with sticky caraway onions, tilsit and house-made Dijon, or sardine and fennel escabeche.

There’s also a Cornersmith cooking school, where you can take classes in brewing beer, making kitchen remedies, or concocting the likes of kombucha, kimchi or vegan cheese.
