This historic corner pub has had a smart makeover and is all exposed brick and hanging garden these days, but the place still has plenty of old-time charm. Locals of all persuasions hang out here, catching some afternoon rays at the street-side tables, a footy game on the big screens or a meal upstairs. Pleasantly packed at weekends. Good-value food.
