There's something rather magical about the baroque, Italianate courtyard out the back of this pub, a great venue on a sunny afternoon or for candlelit beer and gourmet pizza ($18, good veggie options). There's gnarled wooden furniture and character, but don't order food if you're in a hurry. And ask about beer prices before you order, as some are outrageously expensive.
