Although the favoured high-end dining experience for Townsville's posh set doesn't look very stylish upon entry, the bar is slick, the service is fussy and the sophisticated fusion cuisine, which changes with the seasons, is ambitious (though can overreach at times). Vegetarians get their own menu.
