This commanding timber lodge isn't as old as it appears at first glance. But faux-heritage veneer aside, it's a wonderfully homely, family-friendly B&B, with snug communal lounge, games room, and four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, open fires and big breakfasts. Also on the property are a four-bedroom, self-contained cottage and a newer, fresher-looking three-bedroom bungalow (both a two-night minimum stay).
Both the cottage and bungalow cost $100 per night from the third night onwards.
