Denison Boutique Hotel

Occupying a handsome, wrought-iron-wrapped, two-storey Victorian building, built in 1886 for the railway administration and now on the National Heritage register, the Denison is Rockhampton's most characterful hotel. Period splendour meets 21st-century creature comforts: king-size four-poster beds with pillow-top mattresses, heavy velvet drapes, high ceilings and spa baths in each en suite.
