Freshwater

Sunshine Coast

Located 8km south of Double Island Point along Teewah Beach, this popular campground in Great Sandy National Park offers formalised camping with defined sites. Facilities include water (treat before use), flushing toilets and showers ($2 coins required). Free gas barbecues are provided at the nearby day-use area. There's also a portable toilet waste disposal facility adjacent to the Freshwater day-use area.

Monday to Thursday are usually the quietest (ie best) days for camping, except for during school holidays.
