Fig Tree Point

Sunshine Coast

Located at the northern end of Lake Cootharaba, this is one of the most popular (and best-equipped) camping grounds in Great Sandy National Park. Facilities include untreated water, toilets, picnic tables, jetty and canoe landing area. It's located roughly 6.5km from Elanda Point and is only accessible by boat/canoe or hiking.

Generally, Monday to Thursday are the quietest (ie best) days for camping, except for during school holidays.
