Alba Bar & Delicatessen

Brisbane

Pintxos and hip-hop beats make for interesting bedfellows at Alba, a new-school laneway bar from former Masterchef Australia contestant Jamie Fleming. Drinks include cocktails and lesser-known wine varietals, paired perfectly with rotating lunchtime bocadillos (Spanish sandwiches; served until 3pm weekdays only) and all-day tapas-style bites, served Monday to Saturday. The latter include a knockout morcilla (blood sausage) with polenta, truffle and radish.

Thoughtful touches include USB ports under the bar.
