Rose Bay is a seriously underrated beach, especially for snorkelling, and guests at this friendly resort have it pretty much all to themselves. Spacious studios sleep two, and comfy apartments sleep up to six guests quite comfortably. You'll need a car to reach Bowen central, and there's a minimum two-night stay.
